For improving rural connectivity in J&K, NABARD is providing loan assistance under Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) for construction of "rural roads" and "rural bridges" Since 1999-2000(RDFIV)

During 2021-22,998 projects under RIDF tranches XX to XXVII 998 projects were under execution at a cost of Rs.3603.64 crore.

Approved allocation of NABARD Loan Assistance under capex budget 2022-23 has been fixed at Rs.1000.00 crore.
